I would love for you to argue the same thing if a liberal program was on top. If ratings are so unimportant, then why do liberals pay Limbaugh so much attention? Obviously, it's because so many people watch him.

There are way to many channels for this to be measured by old methods. Over 300 channels in most markets makes the variables way beyond any means of reasonable measurement.

No one 'watched' Limbaugh. He had a show - remember? He was so pink & pathetic that his devoted followers saw just a little too much (of themselves, probably) & it died. He had a shot on ESPN, & that died a predictable death.

Take Rush, O’Reilly and Bush out of the conversation and MSNBC's Olbermann and Maddow have no show. Seriously. No wonder their ratings hit the dumpster after the election. It was if Obama said, "I'm through with you sweetheart, your money is on the dresser". I know Rach feels used like a diaper and Keith is still wiping his chin.

If O'Reilly and Rush didn't exist, MSNBC could spend it's time more productively rather than following Rush and Limbaugh around, scooping up their lies and throwing them back in their faces.
