Glenn Beck Demands "A Damn Apology" From The View (AUDIO)

Here's the latest dumbassed escalation in the Glenn Beck versus The View story! Beck is now demanding apologies from the View for accusing him of lying. GLENN BECK HAS CHECKED AND RECHECKED HIS MINUTIAE BY CRACKEE, and needs reparations!

I don't think Glenn Beck is capable of appreciating that the real issue -- insofar as running into any of these people on a train can constitute an "issue" -- is that Beck encountered Goldberg and Walters on a train, and had what Walters and Goldberg thought was a perfectly lovely, non-controversial encounter. They were subsequently taken aback when Beck went on his radio show to depict them as unpleasant, seat-reserving, diva-succubi. Yesterday, his first in-the-moment instinct was to apologize. Now, he's calling them liars. Hey, they could be, but what he doesn't seem to realize that his radio show, was, in fact, THE FIRST SALVO in this battle of What Happened On An Amtrak Bitchery, and that he hasn't substantiated his claims any better.

But here I am: treating this as if it were a good test case for a rules of evidence class. Gah! Anyway, Glenn Beck will now get to the bottom of how Barbara Walters was able to procure a train ticket, which is the single most epochal national security issue our coddled lunatic infotainers face today.

If you actually listen to Glenn Beck's recounting, he never said that Barbara Walters approached him.

While Barbara and Whoopi may not have requested preferential treatment from Amtrak, ABC requested it for them. Amtrak confirmed this.

How typical of Beck - and all the RW blowhards. They're all tough and invincible on air, with their finger on the dump button and always ready to "pot down" any dissenting caller with whom they can't win an argument.

It's like a teen gang member, who intimidates his followers to keep them in line. Then he gets his butt kicked - by two GIRLS - and he has to regain his "cred" by talking trash - beyond earshot of the girls...

On his facts, Barbra asked, if they had "reserved seats," why did Steve Kroft's wife have to sit separately?

My suspicion is that the AMTRAK person who told him he couldn't sit there might have heard him on radio or seen him on TV? I realize that Beck can't conceive of anybody NOT being a fan, but his poll numbers - like those of Limbaugh, Hannity, ... - are dismal, regardless of their ratings.

If you were in his place, wouldn't you take the opportunity to bust Beck's (or Hannity's, Limbaugh's, ...) stones, even with the miniscule power at your command? Especially when he struts in with his bodyguards, thinking he's the biggest star in America (turns out, not even on this train!).

Didn't BillO try to get into the Yankees locker room, based on his Fox credentials - and what a BIG star he is? They turned him away... And don't forget "Don't block the shot!" - a phrase that should have triggered a MUCH bigger response

What he fails to realize is that the world sees him as the LIAR. He is the one who STILL owes the apology ,since his "lame" apology on the VIEW was not acceptable. This is particularly so when Beck's fake apology was only pointedly directed at Ms. Walters and by body language and intentional omission made no deference to Ms. Goldberg.
