'JON & KATE' SNEAK PEEK: Separate Interviews, Detachment (VIDEOS)

Access Hollywood got an advance clip of the impending season of "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

Amid stories of marital strife, numerous magazine covers and reports of affairs, the once cozy couple is now filming their episodes separately, instead of side-by-side as they have every season previously.

Jon somewhat cryptically tell the cameras "Kate and I have obviously been going through some stuff. Discussing what's best for kids."

After an awkward scene from their sextuplets recent birthday party is shown, "Access" then played a clip from their own set last year, when the family was visiting and the parents snapping at each other.

Absolutely ... and as I asked my husband this morning...­assuming they don't end up divorcing.­..how are these people going to make a living after the cameras stop rolling. I mean, lets be realistic! These kids have grown up living the life of a wealthy family. They are going to expect this to continue long after the show is dust and when this doesn't work out, they are going to one nasty set of children.

I watched this show alot when all the kids were little and all I heard Kate say was how exhausting it was taking care of 8 and how the Grandparents werent present so they were alone... yet she fired a nurse after a year? and how many helpers? 40? Thought they were doing it alone. Thats the empression she always gave. Never even herad of these "helpers till it hit the news. And the kids...... Take "little Kate" aka Mady. She is already showing some major signs of inheriting her moms wonderful personality. She scares me as much as the mom does!!!!

I have watched this "show" because the kids are cute, but I had to stop because it became evident that the wife is a real shrew. I was embarrassed for the husband and not sorry to say that I'm glad that he found comfort away from home. She treats him with so much disrespect.

I don't watch this show, but I know from experience that marriages don't always survive multiple births. Even a set of twins can cause a relationship to crumble. I can't even imagine all those kids at once.

I truly think that haircut is atrocious.

The way she interacts with the kids it appears she does not like being a mom and she definably does not respect her husband. I would say she has contempt for him. Their marriage is over.

I agree. I think she liked playing with the babies when they were babies -- but even then, she had Jon do the actual work, like bathing them, etc. It seems Kate wants the glory of being a mom of multiples, but not the grunt work. Look how she dresses now -- seriously, a mother of 8 young children doesn't have time to dress to the nines just to run out to Target for some toilet paper!

She is a scary lady - reminds me too much of Mommie Dearest!
