She must be very proud of herself for sleeping with a married man, you can blame the man for his actions (90%) but she is just as guilty.

Who was it exactly that used the terminology, "love child": The New York Daily News, or the Huffington Post? How long before more people speak out against this kind of "journalism"?! That baby has no right to be branded in such a way.

And just how did this cause damage to anyone in the public?

Oh, that's right. It focuses on someone else's problems, is intrusive and sells as titillation for the simple minded. Well, I guess it meets all the criteria for the media to deem it newsworthy.

Well, I can understand the guy's motivation anyway. If you're gonna do it, do it right. She's hot.

I fail to see how a personal matter between the Mr.& Mrs. Parsons, concerns the general public.
Just as the whole Bill and Monica thing was not anyone's concern, this is not as well.

Model/philanthropist? Huh? From where did this woman derive the funds to become a philanthropist? Fashion week fund raising events to provide "gift bags" and Christmas parties for the children of Liberia..... what a load of bull.

I saw him walking on West Broadway near Greenwich Street one day after work...I still admire the man, despite Citi's troubles. He's always been a personal role model.

he is rich. So its ok for him to do this. Now if he was poor, people would be calling it disgusting . But being rich, and republican allows you to have double standards and still claim to have a set base of morals and faith. He is a good Christian.

"Born in Monrovia, Liberia in 1977, MacDella's dedication to Liberian Refugees is a personal one. After witnessing first-hand the brutal civil war that erupted in early 1990, she escaped to the bordering Ivory Coast, eventually getting clearance to come to the US in 1993. She never forgot how much suffering her fellow Liberians endured, which is what sparked her inspiration for the MacDella Cooper Foundation."

Would someone please be so kind as to explain why the fück this is NEWS?

How does it relate to the operation of (Sh)itibank?

How does it relate to bailout money?

How does it enlighten us about anything that affects us?

In other words, how is this story about an otherwise purely private matter anything more than a calculated appeal to the public's prurient interest?

How's this for a possible answer -
Richard Parsons, a former high profile lawyer, headed Time Warner for years and enjoyed much power and many accolades for his ability to make supposedly wise decisions that impacted thousands/millions of people, and in fact, was paid handsomely for it. Clearly, he is now in a powerful position at Citibank taking part / leading the way in decisions that affect the general public. The way many people see it, there is little to no difference between the decision making processes that go on in one's personal life, than those decision making processes that go on in one's business life. It's all about moral values, and ethical judgment. It's more than obvious why Mr. Parsons would like to keep this personal. It speaks to a lack of grace all around, and a troubled personal character. Up until now in the news, he has had what can only be described as a rather pristine public image. Not any more. That's been blown away with this "news". That is why, in some arenas, many people would be very interested indeed, and find it news worthy.
