I've heard about how Toyotas, Hondas, etc... are so great and are green vehicles over and over again. Did you know they build less than 17% of their cars here? GM builds 78% here. The countries they build those cars in have almost NO EPA STANDARDS. They use slave labor and exploit human beings, even Toyota. Look it up online and see for yourself, it sickening!!!! Therefore, you just defeated the purpose of your "GREEN" vehicle. Those countries pollute more than any car here ever will. Don't they live in the same atmosphere as we do????

Then, to top it off President Obama's WALL STREET AUTO TASK FORCE encouraged GM to close 14 plants here and then take OUR FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS to pay Chinese, Korean and Mexican workers to take our jobs. Yes, people your taxes are paying foreigner wages. They are also taking away tax dollars for your communities in lost payroll, property taxes and you will be paying all of our unemployment and health care. Those closed factories, suppliers and car dealerships use to pay billions in local and federal taxes that will all be gone too.Those taxes funded your schools, police, fire fighters and local government. There are plants in 17 states and suppliers and dealers in every state.

This will continue to happen in other areas BECAUSE we are being sold to foreign countries.

When you BUY american a bunch of executives market the company as AMERICAN and manufacture their entire product in China. So when they wave the flag, the only people who are well off are the few executives of the company and the labor force in china.

More americans are employed by buying a SONY TV than a Vizio or Zenith.

When U.S. Automakers WORKED to give us the Best Cars and Trucks I gave them my Business. When they got all Cheap on us and kept building junk designed to fit their " Get a new car every two years" Mentality I bought German and Japanese. Still have all three and all work JUST FINE.

They got LAZY and ENTITLED and now they are paying for it. The Biggest Insult was the way they USED Patriotism to GUILT us into Buying their ( and they knew it) INFERIOR Products.

They all want FREE MARKET ECONOMY and they got it. And they got their butts Kicked.

Some people who would like to "buy American" get annoyed when they see the so-called "American" companies assembling cars in foreign lands and then trying to sell them in the U.S. all wrapped up in the flag. That just makes people less likely to buy from an American company.

The auto industry is a global industry. A car is a global product. You can't have the unions in the US competing with non-union workers. The unions must break up in order for the US auto industry to compete with others.

Team Obama, Government Motors, and the UAW will clearly bring GM out of the ashes and produce fantastic cars that everybody will want to buy.

Please.....the US government is going to own GM and we KNOW how well they handle matters. Foreign car companies don't have a chance.
