These people need to go away and raise their kids in private. This mother actually thinks she owes it to the public to see her kids grow up. WTF. She owes her kids and husband, not the public. She is seriously in need of some mental health help. I thought the OctoMom was bad, but Kate Gosslin is much worse.
Anyone who has suffered through even one of the episodes of this show knows she treated him like cra p. She deserves to be hurt emotionally for treating him badly, I hope she can't stand it to see him with younger better looking women, she was so mean to him! People can only take abuse for so long.

Jon needs to grow up, stop whining, get a job and work at being an equal partner in this relationship. He seems to find it easier to play the victim than to take care of business.
to be fair to kate...and jon...she might have been doing the bills when they first were struggling and had the sextuplets. That may be why he only got 5 dollars to spend. My own children when struggling have had that or less to spend on frivolotys.
I do believe they have gotten caught up in the fame and fortune of it all but they are two different personalities and hey...Jon could have stood up and been a real man and said, "no" to being a full time home daddy. I think he is the core of the problem. My husband always use to say that no man will let a woman dominate him in that way. Actually, I think strong willed women like it when their man takes the lead and has determined control over the home. This should be done with great love too but definitely the man needs to be the wageearner of the family. Roles change and homes get out of order.

I guess we could all look at this show as a guide of what NOT to do with your life....don't have more children than you can comfortably handle/afford, don't place yourself and your family squarely in the public eye unless you understand up front that living under a microscope is more than most have the capacity to handle.

Oh come on, this is US Magazine for crying out loud. They're both making money from this show, so how could this be true?
Who knows what goes on this crazy relationship, but notice that ALL the tabloids have painted Kate the villain and Jon the victim. And as it always goes, the mother is always the one home raising the kids while the father leaves...and buys a sports car.
Katedog, this could be true because she controls everything, have you seen the way she talks to this man. He had a job as a computer analyst and she made him quit his job to stay home with their kids while she run all of the country promoting their show and her book. I have watched this show for a long time because the kids are funny as heck. Kate treated Jon just as he said, "like a dog, she talked to him worse than should would the hired help. she showed absolutely no respect for him as a man. I can't believe he has hung around this long the way she treated him. I watch her interview a house keeper and what she expected them to do and probably for not a lot of money, I would have told her to kiss my behind. Kate is mean, hateful, rude and self centered. She even humilated Jon and made him get a hair transplant because he was balding in the front and middle. So she has brought all this negativity to them.
He did not quit his job. His employer has been public about why he left. he was FIRED. He was using company time to surf the internet looking for as many freebies as he could get. He was doing that from the first year they were born. It is public record since the employer had to say so for the unemployment office. Kate and Jon lied and tell everyone (even at appearances) that the employer would not insure the kids. They are awful!
Actually, Kate isn't home much. I took a look at her book tour schedule for the last couple of months,and she's gone a greater percentage of time than she is home. Jon is actually a SAHD (stay at home dad), which Kate wanted him to be, thereby allowing her to go to "work" doing her speaking-for-a-large-fee engagements and promoting her books. Jon has always been the more hands-on parent, bathing all six children every night, brushing their teeth, getting them ready for bed, playing with them on week-ends and evenings, helping to fix them meals, etc. He gets them to school most days, and is there when they come home. Kate comes home in time to film some more, then she is off again.
Ya know...Kate would have gotten herself in this position even w/o the kids. It's not the program, well she does perform for the crew and camera, it's more her treatment of Jon, the yelling, screaming, disrespect, tone of everything even when she tries to be nice...she just HAS to always be right!
I fear she is physically abusive to the kids. If the show in withdrawn, Social Services needs, along with a very good counselor, to interview those kiddies. She's a lot too quick to swat Jon, she swat Emeril with a big rubber spatula and she insulted continually for the entire program, Steve Thomas to the point, in his ever so congenial manner to comment ..."that is hurtful" to her actions.
He's tired of not being 'Jon' and living his life in a fishbowl. She loves the attention & doesn't want it to end.
And the kids?
They're too young to understand what's really going on, but once they do, they'll either want the cameras out of the house or become spoiled brats!
My take is that he loves her being the bad guy. There's one in every family.
And he's quite happy to let her take the hits, provided it rakes in the dough.
Oh please, Kate is a biotch. No man wants to be disrespected the way she has her husband.
Wow! Never heard of these people until now, never watched their show, and don't plan to anytime soon! Amazing what reality shows can do for bringing fame to the most random people. It's partially why I hate them.
Why do we reward these people who have way too many kids with fame and fortune? I can't understand why anyone would be interested in any of this. By the way, the back of her head looks like a bird's nest.
