I disagree with almost every word she utters, I hate Fox news with a passion verging on mania, but I admire Megyn. She is articulate, intelligent and quick thinking. She is very good at her job and on that basis deserves to get on.

There is quite a lot of sexist abuse being thrown at her - comments like "why doesn't she stay home and mind her baby" would never, ever be said about a man in a similar role, and I'm quite sure her child is very well cared for.

It is not pretty to see people denigrate someone's skills simply because they disagree with their opinions.

I agree with you KatieMN. But the one problem I have is that her star has ascended her necklines have plummeted. Maybe it's a prereq for a Fox anchor, but Greta doesn't have to dress like a hooker to have a show and Megyn shouldn't either.

Greta, at one point, duded up pretty well but then went back to her square forehead, etc. Nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. She's been a reasonable program host and discussant of issues. I do not find her as coldly and brilliantly logical as Megyn, however. But then again, few people are...

I don't think it's strange. I don't expect that people who happen to agree with the bulk my are a uniformly talented and intelligent bunch, worthy of admiration in every respect. People are not one dimensional, their opinions are just one part of the package. I know some very boorish and rude people who lack much in the way of discernible talent for anything who have practically identical opinions to mine.

Similarly just because I disagree with someone's opinions and/or beliefs doesn't mean I necessarily dislike them or think them lacking in ability.
