It's the time of year again when adults find themselves laughing at adolescents who are much smarter than they are. Yes, it's the week of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. 1) Rebecca Sealfon, 1997: Sealfon won the bee by spelling "euonym." But she didn't just spell it; she screamed it!


2) Katie Seymour, 2005: Seymour cracked up the audience by asking the judges what most of the contestants wanted to ask.


3) Akshay Buddiga, 2004: The thirteen-year old from Colorado ended up getting second place after a scary turn of events.


4)Dominic Ranz Ebarle Errazo, 2005: The Napoleon Dynamite impersonator had the crowd asking if he was passing along a "secret message."


5) Sameer Mishra, 2008: The young speller thought he was asked to spell "numbnut". Check out his reaction when he realized he needed to spell a different word.


6) Andrew Lay, 2007: This guy has trouble figuring out what the word "negus" means. His reaction after spelling it is priceless:
