Fashion Face-Off! Men Of MSNBC Get Catty On "Morning Joe" (VIDEO, POLL)

Poor Chuck Todd. Not only did he have to be on-camera at 4:15 AM PST, but then he had to endure Joe Scarborough's scathing fashion critique.

First, Scarborough made fun of Todd's backdrops (today was dimly lit palm trees), saying they "are as dull as your tie." Then Todd hit back with "Nothing like getting fashion advice from Scarborough...Like, what page in the Land's End catalog?"

Joe's retort: "I don't think I would be judging people's fashion expertise if I were wearing a gray leisure suit with a chocolate brown tie."

A minute later, co-host Mika Brzezinski swooned over David Gregory: "Someone who's very dapper, though, has tremendous fashion sense, oh my gosh, the moderator of 'Meet The Press,' David Gregory."

Joe shouted, "Oh boy, look at the comparison. So which tie, ladies?"

Who cares? My son, with a college degree was laid off almost a year ago and trying to survive with whatever part time jobs he can get to support his wife , a teacher , who is in peril of loosing her job, and their home plus 2 children in the great state of California.... things stink! so who cares about what these guys wear.

Chuck Todd is one of my favorite moderator, along with Brian Williams. He presents the news enthusiastically, asking great questions. I always enjoy listening to him. I suspect he did not think the fashion police would be on this show disguised as Joe. Who, by the way, looked relaxed and dashing without a tie. Maybe someone could pass the hat to get Joe a tie or two. Or maybe there could be a tie less tuesday ( or something) so all you men could dress casual. Personally, I am glad I do not have to wear one.

As time goes by, Joe seems to become more bitter toward other people on the show (regulars and guests). MSNBC should realize he turns viewers off and replace him with someone who is a happy morning person ~ not the grouch a lot of folks see sitting across us at our breakfast table.

I rank Ed Schultz as MSNBC's #1, Rachel Maddox at #2, and (sorry) Keith Olbermann at #3.

People, contact the FCC and your Congressman. Shell Oil is peddling crapola ads on TV which state they make a gasoline which CLEANS YOUR ENGINE. This is bogus, folks. Can't happen, nope, nada, no way. They are lying and got away with it under Bush, but it should not be happening now.

I have to vote for ChuckyT....he's such a cutiepie. And ever since Don Imus first mentioned it, I can't look at DGregory without being reminded of Howdy Doody.....regardless of what tie he's wearing...

Also.... Morning Joe sure has turned into the Bickersons, hasn't it? Joe and Mika are reminding me more and more of Regis and Kathie Lee........yuck!!!

Maybe Joe should go back to Florida, and it should become "morning mika".

Has Joe looked in the mirror recently? (Has anyone noticed how he is starting to look like W.C. Fields
Has he?) And he critiques fashion? Mika's dad ,the good Dr., needs to show up more often JUST to dress him down- pardon the pun. That day was my absolute FAVORITE show.

You got it right for sure. His attire some mornings make me think he slept in his car the night before, got up and came in for the show. I used to really like him on his night show but I believe
his time on MORNING Joe has increased his hat size a little. He is so condescending to his
Democratic guests and when they're gone he falls back into his old Republican self. I think if
you put politics aside Joe is a pretty nice guy with a great sense of humor but like so many on
the dark side they just won't/can't admit or come to grips with what the last administration did
to this great country of ours. Hey, I'm no registered Democrat. You're looking good Chuck!

I rarely watch anymore, just check to see who the guests are. Even that's kind of futile because they just talk over them, but I always watch when Mika's father is on..He has such a wold view of things, he is always interesting..But the other day I could swear I saw Mika talking on her phone while she was on air. I know she texts which is unforgiveable enough, but the phone was up to her ear..Her dad must be so proud.

Joe should have said "When I was in Congress, we always wore red or blue ties".
What on earth do ties have to do with an un intelligent morning show where only Joe gets to talk?
