Gillette Genital Shaver

In its latest ad campaign, Gillette's reaching out to a new market: aspiring body shavers. AdAge passes along Gillette's "How To Shave Your Groin" YouTube spot. The title pretty much says it all. (We'll spare you the details -- like the need to use "short, light strokes," for example). Check out the full video below:

Hah! The applying lotion part was a hoot. All I could think of was how far we've come from the Bill Cosby shave cream skit of the '60s to now. I also got a kick out of the tree with no underbrush line. Hey man, create an optical illusion and everything will roll your way! Two words: nut stubble. Two more words: ingrown hairs. Three words: emergency room questionnaire. "Billy! What's taking you so long in the shower? Get out of there and give someone else a chance!"

What about manskaping with a trimmer? It's a lot easier and no chance for accidents. No scratching during hair growth either.

What is manscaping?

Trimming it really short, instead of bald. That way there are no nicks or ingrown hairs, and of course the intense itching that comes with regrowth.

You mean a string trimmer?

I use the .065 (orange) line around the yard, what do you recommend for "down south?"

Yeah, what's the big deal? A minimal amount of 'scaping is just courteous. I almost fell to the floor with the moisturizer part though!

What if my tree is so tall, that it needs a bit of shrub to make it not look so intimidating?

Don't forget to shave in other places, like under your arms or your back.

Real men don't shave. They pour kerosene on the area and light it on fire, putting it out at the exactly proper moment.

Wrong wrong wrong..

Real men fly Boeings. Especially the stylish and sporty 767-300ER. Chicks really dig the new winglets, and it's a lovely brush of the ego when everybody from clearance to center calls me "heavy."

Bow to your master!

Oh, and don't use blades near your junk. Thirty bucks for a Bodygroom will really streamline the appearance of your Harry Potter and Goblets of Fire.
