Adam Lambert has no hard feelings after "American Idol" Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken bashed him then apologized over a series of blog posts late last week.
"I don't know Clay," Adam told Access Hollywood on Thursday morning after performing on the 'Today Show. 'I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before.'

The good thing about Pop music (and I can only think of one), is that a pop artists' shelf life is generally short. Clay, time to move on, your 15 minutes have passed.

I am so over Adam Lambert and his arrogance. Perhaps Clay Aiken shouldn't have said what he did but he apologized. Coattails????? Perhaps if Adam had accomplished anything he might have some coattails. I predict that in two years, he'll be a blip from the annals of American Idol and have disappeared into obscurity.
Broadway will love to have Adam if his recording career doesn't take off - instead of understudy he will be the star of the show. So Adam will be just fine no matter what.

I agree w/ you 1000%. If not for Adam, AI wouldn't have been exciting at all. Clay's comments were totally asinine. People should be careful to NOT insult our Adam OR his fans. Adam is the superstar!!
Adam is talented, but the music industry is a niche oriented industry. What's Adam's niche? He has to figure that out and stick with it if he's ever going to build a fan base that will stick with him after a year or two. Right now he's all over the place, which is fine for a talent competition that has weekly theme changes built into its structure. But American Idol is certainly not representative of the real music industry. The successful post-Idol performers are those that have found a very narrow niche and stuck with it (Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, etc.). Rocky Horror Picture Show is not a niche. We'll see.

Then if he's all that why is he taking cheap shots at the show that made him recognizable, and singling out the one gay person to be comfortable with who he is on the show?
If here were so comfortable he wouldn't be playing games with the "is he or is he not" question, there would be no doubt and he wouldn't be "hiding" just so that he can then make an announcement.

This little b!tch fight is hilarious to me and so are all of the comments! Two tragic reality queens trading barbs is really priceless. The delusion on both of their parts is hysterical. Clay is extremely lucky to have the career he's had and seems to have made some money off of it. I'm tours of Japan and performing at sad casinos will keep Aiken's pockets padded for years.
Lambert is the most transparent Idol marketing tool to date and that's pretty hard to do! After his obligatory 2 years with 19 are up, we'll find Lambert singing Meatloaf covers near the corndog truck at the county fair.

Adam Lambert is extremely talented. Don't be bitter about successful gay people. They deserve their success.
