Angelina Jolie Hospitalized After On-Set Accident, Released

NEW YORK — A spokesman for Columbia Pictures says Angelina Jolie is back on the set of her latest movie after a brief trip to the hospital for a minor bump to the head.

Jolie sustained the injury Friday while filming an action sequence on Long Island in New York, where her upcoming thriller "Salt" is being shot.

Studio Spokesman Steve Elzer says the actress was taken to a local hospital, examined and released as a precautionary measure.

Elzer says she was back on the set Friday and production has resumed.

Lots of men can do there own stunts.... Angie is very mannish really, as are lots of lesbians ... so big deal, she's capable to doing male things... what's hot about that? There are a lot of Hollywood types who don't do anything for anybody. Why complain so bitterly about angie and Brad. They haven't hurt you or your family. They are doing something for somebody else. According to Rolling Stone article, the person who wrote the AIG coverage for all these investment bankers, Joe Cassano, made over $178 million in one year. Complain about him. He is living in London, happy and rich.

I'm fascinated by Jolie's physical fearlessness -- she does her own stunts in action movies. Not to mention traveling all over the world to remote locations for the UN. A really intriguing woman.

Yes, I look at her and wonder how she can lift her arms, let alone do stunts in pictures. She could use about 5 pounds, maybe even 10. She's way thinner than she was when she did the first Lara Croft movie.

Luckily it was a minor cut (as reported). It is good that she was sent for a check up. You have to be extra cautious when it comes to head ingury. God bless the Jolie-Pitt.

Angeline and Brad were in India last year and people out here were mad about them. Angeline is very beautiful and they have a big heart with the kind of charities they do. I would love to see them in a Bollywood movie as guests.
