Ha ha,,,I don't think Obama has to go far to figure out who hacked into his accounts. That was a newsless expose, imo. We give secrets and military plans away. Everytime someone figures out a firewall, someone else cracks it. I would just put the RNP on notice. And when they spy on the citizens regularly and without consequence....who really cares that Obama's accounts were hacked.
-----BREAKING NEWS-------
OBAMA DOES AGAIN
He goes out lunch for the burger, at "FIVE GUYS RESTAURANT"
The young generation have no clue how to manage network systems. Pathetic.
The rethugs only know how to lie, cheat and steal.
The humor in this, at least to me, is that now, 5 months after the election, the now President comes out with the info that his site was hacked multiple times. You know with all that info about who donated and how much, who was on the mailing lists, etc. By comparison, remember the massive P.R. stink that was raised because a college student hacked Sarah's email account when she'd all but given away the info to do so publicly? A little bit of a disparity....
.
Obviously, the hack attackers failed at causing the Obama campaign to be embarrassed by their efforts. I very pleased that they failed.
.
Perhaps that's why I'm suddenly getting GOP e-mails.
Your poor thing, I feel sorry for anyone recieving those hate filled lies on a continuous basis.
During the election I was getting McCain propaganda with donation requests via snail mail. I sent them Obama literature in their post-paid envelopes. I reply to GOP e-mails with a link to the White House. Sadly, they still don't get it.
Dear President Obama:
Please also revisit decisions on domestic spying, presidential powers, and related civil liberties.
Our own history clearly demonstrates that when government officials have survelliance powers without adequate oversight, those powers will be used for political spying and to gather personal information about political dissenters (such as the shameful spying on Dr. King).
It's tempting to believe that your administration won't do these things, but Lord Acton was correct about power. Power without proper and clear limits will be abused.
Further, even if we can trust your administration, there will be another Nixon, Bush, or worse.
Civil liberties protect us all, and we compromise these at the peril of all.
The difference between a safe and secure democracy and the nightmare of the Third Reich is respect for civil liberties and the Rule of Law.
Well and truly spoken. Thank you.
I hope that you sent it to him. I sent something very similar. I imagine that all those emails go into the delete file, but you will feel better.
This is our world now. The world of the electron and the switch; the beauty of the baud. We exist without nationality, skin color, or religious bias. You wage wars, murder, cheat, lie to us and try and make us believe that it is for our own good, yet we are the criminals. Yes I am a criminal.
My crime is that of curiosity. I am a hacker, and this is my manifesto. You may stop me, but you can't stop us all - Hackers
darn I like that little avatar.
No wonder I have been receiving so many unsolicited emails from car dealers (republican contributors)
I'm not surprised. I'm glad the aspirations of the people who hacked his site failed (hear that, Rush?)
