FILE- This is a May 24, 2009 file photo of Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle It's always a bad hair day for Susan Boyle until she starts to sing. The Scottish songbird with the frizzed-out hair doesn't look like a star. She is a bit chubby, with plain features, and no thousand watt show biz smile. But her golden voice has made her the overwhelming favorite in Britain's Got Talent finals on Saturday May 30. 2009. (AP Photo/Andrew Milligan/PA)

The performance finale of "Britain's Got Talent" will air live on British TV Saturday beginning at 1:45 p.m. EDT (6:45 p.m. in London).

But unless you live in the United Kingdom or have an especially fancy satellite hookup, your options to watching are essentially limited to the Internet.

_ YOUTUBE: It's been good enough for more than 60 million viewers thus far. Videos of Boyle's performance will be uploaded both by the show and by users immediately afterward.

_ THE OFFICIAL WEB SITE: Videos will also rapidly be posted at: http://talent.itv.com/

_ HOP A FLIGHT TO LONDON: It will be easy to find there. Ratings have shown that half of those watching TV at the time of "Britain's Got Talent" in the U.K. have been tuning into the show. Last minute round-trip flights from New York to London were starting upwards of $1,000.

I think she's fantastic and certainly should have won.

She sang like a real pro.

In 5 years time, I will still be listening to Susan's first CD, while I will never, ever have had the opportunity to see the very talented family dance act, Diversity. Their choreographer will go on to great success with film and stage productions, but Diversity will never make the racks at Walmart.

American Idol, in all its years, has never scooped up as much entertaining and original talent as this season of BGT. The hills, valleys and villages of Britain, Scotland, Ireland and Wales are alive with the spirit of music. This was great entertainment that spanned generations. Perhaps it is time for the 2nd British Invasion of music?

The media reaches Boyling point

Obama's election, Bobby's resurrection in the shower and the WMD in Iraq. All pale into insignificance when compared with the column inches dedicated to a middle-aged spinster with unruly hair and depressing dress sense.

Unless you spent the last few weeks in a persistent vegitative state, you're no doubt aware that the UK is in the grip of Britain's Got Talent mania. All this week we've been treated to the semi-finals, as each night eight acts took their turn to showcase a staggering lack of the show's eponymous quality, with a few notable exceptions of course.

But there's only one act that anyone seems to care about, and that's Susan Boyle, AKA The Hairy Angel, SuBO (the woman has more aliases than Sydney Bristow). With the show heading inexorably towards its final edition tonight, the media has responded by filling its front pages with speculative, and often falsified, stories about Susan. It's no wonder the poor woman got off to a shaky start last week, even Jesus' second coming will be under considerably less scrutiny.

You can't watch video on the ITV site, all UK television sites only allow UK IP addresses to view video content. So, unless ITV plans on changing that, cross that one off your list.
ITV and other UK TV channels could sell a subscription service so we could watch UK TV online from the US, they are missing a major revenue generating opportunity.

I was too, but he didn't make it past his Semi-Final. :( He picked the wrong song - he tried to go back & forth between his falsetto & tenor registers and it just didn't work. The staging was to die for, though.

Shaheen Jafargholi is pound for pound very talented singer. He came out strong and even Simon said he was a real contender. So there is lots of competition for sure. Susan is not a sure win as we all thought she was at first.

May the best act win period.

Shaheen is a professional performer already. His started off off-key and his voice cracked a few times but was screaming so much you couldn't tell. Does that mean his voice is changing? Boys voices change between 12 and 15 or so. Hard to know if he has lasting power since his voice will change and mom may be the driving force. He did give a great performance and he certainly has talent but Susan's voice is stunning and moving. It will interesting the performance that Hollie steel gives today. She is has a stunning voice and is highly trained.
Susan needs a protective supportive spouse or partner to help her navagate this stuff. I noticed that the other performers have that or a parent. I will gather that a number of suitors will be at her door after all this is said and done and then she will the challenge of picking the right one.

What do you mean 'Shaheen is a professional performer already?'. He attends a stage school once a week on Saturdays. How does that constitute professionalism.
Not sure if you're saying it gives him an edge over Susan Boyle, but if you are, you should also know that Susan has had formal vocal training too...

Well based on all the exceptional talent this year, she is one of many now.

I have seen some really good singers on this show since she initially tried out and they really can blow the socks off per their talents. The issue is now, are people just going to vote for Susan because of all the medial hype or are they really going to listen to the others and access their talents accordingly before they vote?

In any case, I hope the best and the most talented person wins whomever he/she/group is/are.

Why the hell do we have to hear over and over and over and over again these remarks about Susan Boyle's appearance? It's not as if everyone doesn't know what she looks like by now. The remark above "It's always a bad hair day etc" indicates that somehow the press have decided to use her as an excuse to see how many different ways a person can be insulted about their appearance and to see who can find the wittiest way of doing it while maintaining a mask of friendly impartiality.
Enough already!

Another option is to watch it live. I did for the semi-finals (I live in US). Just go online and search around the various fan sites.
