Young Cons Anthem: Conservatives Their Beliefs Through Rapping (VIDEO)

HuffPost's Jason Linkins included this astonishing video in his Scritti Politti roundup yesterday, but we felt it deserved its own post. "The Young Cons" are apparently some conservatives from Dartmouth College who think a good way to spread their beliefs is through rapping, specifically with their "Young Con Anthem."

Lest you think this is a parody, I direct you to their website, where they lay out their goals in a lengthy mission statement hailing "Ronald Reagan, Martin Luther King Jr., and arguably Jesus [as] the flag-bearers of the true conservative movement."

I kind of feel sorry for these guys, but then I remember that these are a couple of trust fund babies rapping about the capitol gains tax on their inheritance. Then I don't feel so sorry anymore...

These guys are the younger version of the lame white big ot blues musicians that live in my neighborhood.
