FBI counterterrorism investigators and other law enforcement agencies had been investigating Muhammad since he returned from Yemen, to determine whether he had links to extremist groups there or in Somalia.

If the President condemns this act, they will know that this is the way to get under Our skin.

If the rightwing administration of the previous 8 years thought that this should be condemned, then you'd bet that Cheney would be on Fox stirring the pot over this. But he's not. The argument here is that if he goes out of his way to condemn the Tiller killing, and doesn't say something about two soldiers shot in broad daylight on a US street by a muslim extremist - what message does that send to soldiers and anyone else?
