Charles Barkley Calls His Producer A "Pussy" On Air (VIDEO)

Basketball legend Charles Barkley clearly doesn't have as much control over his mouth as he did the ball on the court. During the after show of Game Six of the Magic/Cavaliers playoff series, he dropped two bad words on the air, albeit one worse than the other.

First, Barkley called his fellow panelist Kenny Smith "numb nuts" when Smith interrupts him. This offense is greatly overshadowed minutes later when another panelist Ernie Johnson is thanking their producer and praising him as "the absolute best in the business" when Barkley pretends to cough and says loudly "pussy."

Barkley's mates seem a bit stunned before Reggie Miller astonishingly exclaims, "What... What are you do... What is wrong with you!?"

HOW IN THE HELL THIS GUY IS STILL ON THE AIR IS BEYOND ME. I HAVE TALKED WITH A COUPLE OF SPORTS TALK RADIO HOST AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FLABBERGASTED HE WASN'T FIRED ON THE SPOT. HE FURTHER COMMENTED..."LOOK, I THINK THE TNT PRE AND POST NBA SHOW IS ONE OF THE BEST IN SPORT, RIGHT UP THERE WITH NFL FOX AND NASCAR ON FOX. BUT THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A DOUBLE STANDARD. The sexually REPRESSED always show themselves by what brings them to 'outrage'. LIGHTEN up! I love Charles because of his raw unpredictability. I'd bet none of those 'outraged' on here even watch Inside the NBA.

Or we can all suffer through the same ole canned, typical middle of the road, please don't upset the soccer mom, bankers' daughter sentimentality, what about the kids crowd announcers. i love Sir Charles when I was a kid watching the NBA for the first time. Why wouldn't I like him now. No one watches the end of the commentary anyways especially after a blowout. Besides, he's better behind that booth then running for governor of Arkansas I believe?

You mean Alabama. I agree, I have always enjoyed watching him. Although he is funny and he knows basketball it's his antics that amuse. Kenny Smith tries to come off as the smart one but he does nothing to change the old musclehead theory. Ernie Johnson is the nerdy voice who has won an Emmy, he sits back and lets Charles make a fool of himself on EVERY show.

TNT b-ball presenters are entertaining. They are better than ESPN and its endless(Who cares) statistics. The Round Mound of Rebound makes that show work and without him it would be just another pre/post game show.

Several times this season, I've been absolutely convinced Barkley was drunk on air. This was most painfully evident to me when he went off on an unrelated tirade about how crappy a city Cleveland is. That was late regular season. No provocation. They weren't discussing Cleveland.

Beyond all of the things he says that are just off topic and patently offensive, he really doesn't contribute much in the way of basketball analysis, either. He also didn't deserve the '93 MVP, but that's for a discussion on a different website.

The guy has a problem, and I can't believe he still has a job..
