I understand why Obama wants to give a speech. Afterall his father was muslim.

Nor was his father French, German, British, Mexican, etc. or any other place whether the President has given speeches.

LOL.... he is going all the way to Egypt to give a speech to the Arab/Muslim world to change their hearts and minds about the US so we can have a safer future and you think he is going because his father is a muslim............. You really should get over it because there are more than 1 billion muslims in the world and in your lifetime you will have to deal with muslims one way or another. Obama gets it, but you don't.
