Page Six/New York Post:

AS if it wasn't bad enough that Lindsay Lohan ruined her own career, she's now interfering in the careers of others. Lohan is in Paris, according to multiple sources, talking to the House of Emanuel Ungaro about signing on as a "creative consultant" for the fashion line. But the current head designer of Ungaro, Esteban Cortazar, is not greeting the rehabbed starlet with open arms.

What is she now, 20? 21? She's gorgeous and she's gifted. Kind of early to start saying she's washed up.

This little girl has long since lost her way. Her vulgar attempts to get attention have all but ruined the lukewarm attempts at celebrity, she may have had. Lindsay does have potential, she just doesn't know how to bring it from under the wreakage she's thus far made of her life. Sadly, it's not over.
After all the tricks and treats, she won't figure it out until she's hit the absolute bottom. Sometimes it works.

Who cares if she is a lesbian. I want her to stay away from Ungaro. Try Strawberry, Linds. Does Strawberry still exist? If not, she can help it make a comeback.

Well, Lohan ruined her career. She had tons of potential around Mean Girls, but she sabotaged her own opportunities. No one to blame but herself.

I really feel sorry for this girl, maybe because I have a teenage daughter who could go the same route if she didn't have structure, discipline, and a shoulder to cry on. Her parents are a train wreck, and its no wonder she is in the shape she's in. From the looks of things, her sister is headed down the same road.

This beautiful, lost child is an example of the importance of personal brand.

Often in this Style Section, posters mock the buzz about personal style and brand, banishing any such thing to zero value.

In the last few years she has actively advertised her brand: partying, late nights, drugs, driving under the influence, dysfunctional relationships and lesbianism. Thats OK if that is what she wants her brand to be, but there are consequences -- good and bad -- to brands. It's OK to be a lesbian, but there are consequences to that as well.

She says she is not a lesbian, yet she continues to maintain her attachment to the apparently equally troubled Samantha. Through that relationship she has in one stroke killed her film career. She will, in my view, never again be credible or taken serously as a romantic leading lady.

Sorry, not good news for some, but true.

A lesson learned about brand. This beautiful young woman had so much going for her and so much potential as a movie star. She has destroyed that potential, and I doubt that she will ever be able to rebuild it. Perhaps a film career was not important to her.

really, because she is (not) a lesbian then she has ruined her film career?

btw, she has every right to not call herself a lesbian. for one she may not be very ready to talk about herself in those labelled terms - why should people. and secondly, from what she has said it seems if you Have to label her then she is Bisexual, which is existent and real. I believe she will definitely be credible as a leading romantic lady - I really don't see how she won't be. Maybe there is some truth in what you say on some level somewhere, but really I don't see it nor is there all that overwhelming evidence that known lesbians can't have leading hetero roles, but I especially don't see this happening with her. her relationships are not a brand, they are very much real. yes, celebrity personalities have become brands - it is themselves that sell their movies, but really I see this side her as not having been 'branded'.
