That's what happens. Your daughter discovers music and you have to listen to the most godawful stuff for about 15 years and then they FINALLY start listening to decent music. I don't know who young girls are torturing their parents with now (Jonas Brothers?) but for us it was Brittany Spears and the Spice Girls. Sucked my will to live.
