Michelle Obama And Bo Give Brian Williams Tour Of The East Wing (VIDEO)

As part of his NBC special "Inside The Obama White House," Brian Williams got a tour of the White House's East Wing from first lady Michelle Obama.

As the two looked out a window, she told Williams "This is a beautiful home. It's a public museum, but there are definitely spaces and places to enjoy your privacy."

Once they were in her East Wing offices, Mrs. Obama arrives to taping with Bo the puppy, toward whom Brian Williams immediately got pretty cutesy, cooing "Who's a good doggie?" He then added "I don't mean to not pay attention to the first lady of the United States."

He also talks to her staff, including press secretary Katie McCormick Lelyveld, who says "every day has pinch-me moments."

I just saw Jon Stewart's segment on it and I disagree with you and agree with him - it was demeaning.

I love the FL but I detected a sense of unease with Brian Williams. The President always looks dapper but the FL, by dressing so casually, may be trying to express an unhappiness in her new role. I also noted that she looked down once when speaking and I have noted her speaking with her arms folded in front of her. Body language does not lie and these actions indicate that she is not happy and at ease. Also, the dog may be being used as a kind of crutch. I noted that the dog was always present and she may be using Bo as a distraction from dealing with personal issues. I hope the people around her can talk to her so she can resolve whatever is troubling her.

I enjoyed the interview on NBC last evening. I think FLOTUS is charming, gracious, intelligent, and very attractive and Bo is adorable.

I think the coolest thing is how down to earth they are. When the President said his favorite time of the day was taking the dog for a walk in the evening, and picking up the poop. They are just regular people, elected and serving this country. Good luck Obama's.,

Good idea and it puts a human face to the Obamas and Bo. I just love that Bo....if they need a dogsitter for Bo this summer I volunteer and perhaps they would permit me to sleep in the lincoln bedroom if Bo and I agree to behave?

I just loved it when Michelle told Barack that Bo got caught tearing up a magazine. I don't care how well trained a puppy is, or what breed it is, puppies just have to be puppies. We have found that giving them things and toys which are specifically "Bo" or "Princess" or whatever to chew up gets them through that chew on whatever they encounter period.
