Tom Hanks Hit By Meteor On Conan's 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)

Tom Hanks stopped by "The Tonight Show" for Conan O'Brien's second show and reminded viewers how good he is at physical comedy.

In addition to an exaltation of In-n-Out burgers, a sample song from an imagined Broadway version of 'Turner & Hooch' and an extended impression of Ron Howard, he talked about his love of meteor showers.

As the two pondered the faux LA night sky of the "Tonight Show" set, Conan cued a meteor that knocked Tom backwards out of his seat and made his shoe fly off.

Even liked Joe the Volcano a little, but then of course he grew into Forest and Davinci and we came to know him as a truly wonderful human being. These days it's kind of fun to watch Joe the Volcano in the same way that it's kind of fun to look at baby pictures of your favorite nephew!
