The Club for Growth, the bane of Republican moderates, has taken another shot at Florida GOP Gov. Charlie Crist, this time nominating him for its Comrade of the Month Award for May.

these people don't have any power in Florda, we the voter will decide. Chist is like by Democrats, Independants and moderate Republican alike.

Crist has receive this recognition because he was willing to accept the stimulus money for Florida. He has also spoken positively about President Obama. The repubs love name calling, labeling, and using "-isms" and "-ists".
As a Democrat, I've always held a liking and much respect for Governor Charlie Crist. It's my feeling that moderate and reasonable Republicans like Charlie Crist will rise from the ashes and take lead of the GOP once the Reichwingnuts, neo-cons, Bible-thumpers and ra ce-haters have destroyed the ReTHUG wing.
Crist is very popular in Florida and these guys go after him. Interesting.
(Conversation overheard in a restaurant frequented by Washington GOP members)
"Mmmm! This is good! What is it again?"
"It's Crist."
"Yeah, I like how crisp the coating is, but what is it?"
"No, it's Charlie Crist. A bit well done, but not too dry."
"Man, Republican red meat is excellent! We should have thought of this before!"
"Next time I'm going to order fillet of Steele."
"Do you think we'll ever get to have barbecues Limbaugh with Limburger?"

The one person who has at least an ounce of credibility (considering Newt, Cheny, Huckabee, Palin, etc..) and they are tossing him under the bus.

Wow! I thought it was a compliment. Comrade just means friend. Why does club for growth view that as a bad thing.
In their parlance, they mean "Comrade" to mean "Stalinist"
