European Teen Facial Reconstruction The First Of Its Kind (VIDEO)

Doctors in Europe have for the first time successfully reconstructed the face of a teenager suffering from Parry-Romberg Syndrome by using a new technique that drastically minimizes the typical scarring associated with similar procedures.

Parry-Romberg Syndrome is a rare disease where the skin and fat tissue on one half of a person's face deteriorate overtime. The new technique is reportedly similar to that used in breast reconstruction surgery.
