Jon Voight as a presidential contender?
you must have mistaken him for John McCain.
There is not one single decent republican with fresh ideas and solutions for the issues this country is facing today. This continued crucifiction of all that lives that isn't right-wing madness is getting pretty old. The only tools that the GOP have in thier arsenol is continued negativity. They put everyone and everything down to make themselves feel better, so they dont have to face being the consumate failures that they are.
Someone called Jon Voight "deranged" on another blog. I have to say, this is an astute observation. He is yet one more body added to the list of the deranged people within the republican party.
The GOP, the gift that keeps on giving!
Oh please please with Palin!
Hilarious !! Bring him on........
Jon will fold up and collapse faster that Rudy did in the last go around.
I am truly appauled by Mr. Voight's comments about our President. If he truly wants to make a difference, then STOP WITH THE BULLSH!T CRAP THROWING, it only makes him look as bad the Palin and the McCain. It only makes the GOPers look even worse than they do right now. I owned numerous DVDs of his and have since thrown them in the trash, I don't want anything with his name on it in my home anymore and would never give them away, someone might think I liked him. I have lost total respect for this man, same dirt as all the other GOPers anymore.
I agree. It makes him look as bad as Cheney, Limbaugh, Michelle Bachmann, Palin, Gingrich, Coulter. The republican party has become the party of complete fools!
I think he has the potential to be every bit the statesman and candidate that Fred Thompson was
Fred Thompson thought the whole thing looked kinda cool, glam, and fun - but then got BORED as a Senator - so he went back to being an actor... then he thought running for President would be exciting and cool - but that was like, WORK! So he just did the fun parts like criticizing the other guys and never really spent any time on issues or staff. Looked great in the prepared statements in the debates and conventions though!
Arnold Schwarzenegger at least worked relatively hard at governing and campaigning and is a reasonable, thinking governor.
Jon Voight - another Fred in the making...
