Roeder is a violent sociopath using the excuse of saving "unborn children" to act out his illness. He should be medicated and committed.

From the complete CNN article, 'Operation Rescue, did not immediately return a call from CNN Tuesday. But in a New York Times interview last week, the organization's leader, Troy Newman, said closing the clinic because of Tiller's death would be cause for concern. "Good God, do not close this abortion clinic for this reason," he told the Times. "Every kook in the world will get some notion." '

Ok Troy, what do you want? Do you want the clinic re-opened so that (in your vernacular) more babies can be killed? It is either closed because one of your followers murdered the doctor or it is open to provide full (legal) clinic services to women. Huh, kind of a tough decision isn't it? That is what ha.te and inciting violence bring. You are the one who has to live with the outcome of your actions. The murder of Dr. Tiller is one of them.

Lovely.... this is the problem with terrorism... it's incredibly effective... now every wingnut crazy will be emboldened to go out and just start shooting people they don't agree with politically... I'd like to see conservatives have the same kind of moral outrage about this guy murdering people and engaging in terrorism as they did about that DHS report that warned against guys like Roeder...

Those who misled Scott Roeder into believing that murder is an acceptable form of protest should share his fate. They were cowards who didn't have the courage to do it themselves, but instead chose an easily misled proxy to do the dirty work for them. Their deceit and cowardice make them much more despicable.

Since all these anti-abortion folks are also pro-death penalty, I say let's off this guy. Eye for an eye, right?

Eye for an eye would be shooting him when he's about to go to volunteer at the church where he and his family prays at...

I would like to do to him as he did to the good doctor. He does not deserve jail unless they put him in with the general population.

This is not the solution to the issue. It would just reduce pro choice individuals to terriorist levels. The most positive thing that could happen would be for another doctor to open another clinic in Wichita. Womens health need to be of primary concern.....The terriorist and associate of the terriorist need to understand that they cannot win by murdering Dr. Tiller...The terriorist needs to sit in solitary confinement for the rest of his life....

I hope we can claim victory by putting him away for life with no possibility of parole.

Yeah, I'm pro-life--I believe in life in prison for this terrorist. I believe in caring for people on this planet. I believe in respecting the lives of others. And I believe that it is wrong to kill someone because you don't agree with their beliefs or their right to conduct legal procedures. Yeah, I'm pro-life--I think their movement is misnamed.
