Zack Morris Resurrected On 'Late Night,' Promises 'Saved By The Bell' Reunion

Zack Morris himself made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday night. Startlingly unaged and sporting his signature preppy blond haircut, the "Saved by the Bell" star stayed in character for the entire segment.

"I'm Zack Morris. After school I became an actor," he told Fallon. "I had to change my name to Mark-Paul Gosselaar because there was already a Zack Morris in SAG."

Morris did several "time-outs," freezing Fallon and The Roots while he talked to the camera, and answered a call from Jessie Spano, who agreed to Mr. Belding's pleas to do a Bayside High class reunion on the show. Sadly, he also reported that he and Kelly Kapowski got divorced.

Nice. I thought it was a good segment. I think Fallon is coming along decently. Some good, some bad, but at least he's out there trying. And the Roots as a band? Nice. Though the time-outs were a classic.

Good for him, he has proven himself and he should have some affectionate feelings for the character that got him to where he is. Way to go.

OMG this was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I respect the fact that although he's moved on he didn't have a problem paying hommage to his roots. Many child stars try so hard to distance themselves from their past. I loved when he did the "time out" and when he pulled out that ancient cellphone...classic!!
