Re; the future looking bright for the GOP.... I was reading the blogs on McCain's website daily during the election. They were all saying the same thing then about the results in November shaping up to be great and a real surprise. The GOP's capacity for self-delusion is boundless, like seeing WMD's where there are none. That said, Dems have to be careful. With no 'loyal opposition' party speaking from the right, the big danger is that the little cracks showing now between moderate and progressive Dems will become a chasm if they continue with no common enemy of strength to fight.

Well, Cheney was right we are less safe with these right wing nuts trying to overthrow a duly elected president. I guess he knows first hand the chatter what is going on in these white supremacist groups. Cheney with his iron fist is their GOD.... and they hang on to his every word. Surely, when he was giving all those interview some nut probably thought he was calling them to action to terrorize Jews, Blacks, Pro-choicers, etc. The only group that may have a chance is the gay community until Cheney decides we don't need them either.

It's a shame that people in high powerful positions are calling for a revolution. Sure, they stop short of violent revolution­...however­, their followers know exactly what the intent is.
