Cheney is not speaking for the GOP - he could care less about anyone but himself.

Cheney is continuing his efforts to be the acknowledged King of the USA.

He remains frustrated because, even after all these years, the American people still don't accept that he is always right and we are always wrong. (OMGZ, are we stupid or what?!?) But, because he is soooo patriotic, he bravely forges ahead to save us from ourselves.

This is the first thing I've heard Sanford say that I agree with. Luckily Cheney will not listen to him and continue to drag the GOP into the toilet bowl. At least he's good for something.

Sanford lost his nerve because the media template of late has been "Thou shalt diss Limbaugh and Cheney to even be considered for membership in polite society." My suspicion is they just concede in order to move on to the topics they want to discuss. For instance how government run health care will lead to rationing, how the Obama "stimulus" hasn't stimulated anything, except a spike in the unemployment rate, and how the President's decisions are weakening our national defense. 2010 is shaping up to be a great year for the GOP and the left is in denial. http://theclosetconservative.com
