My only issue is with the cancer causing hormones, the medication and the major surgeries. I don’t even take bith-control pills (though I am very safe) – I fear synthetic hormones and other additives. Otherwise, good luck and blessings to Chaz.

Why not google the procedure? Or perhaps you could attend a local group with transgendered people to understand the entire transitioning process since it's a lot more involved than just the actual bits.

She's not nuts. She has body dysphoria. Gender is a complex thing, not simply defined by one element.

Her body is female, but her brain identifies as male. I've known a good many transgendered people and, believe me, that it can be an anguishing, miserable state of disconnection.

But, I guess "nuts" covers it for most people, no matter how FRAKKING HURTFUL it is.

These are people who never feel that they belong, never feel right in their skin. "Real" men/women resent them and make that resentment known.

Like, by calling them "nuts."

But I guess it's understandable. Some people are so insecure in their own sexual identity that it's nearly impossible for them to show compassion and understanding to those who are not.

Many years ago when Chaz was wth his parents on the Sonny & Cher show, Cher said, "The other day Chastity came home from school and sad she wanted to be a boy. And--" And then Chasttiy covered Cher's mouth with her hand. I've always remembered that; it sounds like Chaz has always known who he is. Best of luck to him; he's a beautiful person.
