Jeremiah Wright On Jews And Obama: "I Misspoke," Meant "Zionists"

Reverend Jeremiah Wright raised eyebrows yet again when he said he was no longer able to speak to President Obama because "them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me." On Sirius Radio's "Make it Plain with Mark Thompson" Thursday, he clarified.

"Let me just say, like Hillary, I misspoke. Let me just say Zionists," Wright said, before going on to delineate the difference between them and "responsible Jewish persons." He went on to discuss the Israeli government and the power of the Zionist lobby in the U.S. government, saying he was basing his words on the work of Jewish historian Marc Ellis.

Everyone has an opinion on Rev. Wright and I can appreciate it so I'll just state mine and hope you can do the same. None of you even has a clue why Rev. Wright says what he says so I won't go any deeper than I am right now. He's a good man and a bitter man because of what he sees as a path from h e l l the black people have taken to get to this point today where they are STILL not at peace in this country. And to hate a people so much is unnatural and that's why he preaches his sermons from his studies of the "real" Jews. Andf his sermons are NOT hateful or espouses hate for the Jews either. He tries to make parishioners understand the plight of the "real" Jews only. No hate is taken from any of these sermons. He ends each sermon with love, understanding and acceptance of our lives and the wickedness done to our people. We are to forgive and not to hate.

If you have no idea of these studies, then I cannot begin to explain them to you. I can only understand what he says but I certainly DO NOT condone when he says nasty things outside of the church about the Jews.

Remember that press conferemce that he gave during the primaries that was hosted by a Hillary supporter who hated Obama,and that resulted in Obama severing all relationship with him. Boy, there are so many people who want President Obama to fail or to make his presidency difficult.

What is amazing and frightening is that the current president of the US looked up to this man and listened to his trash sermons for 20 years.

Unless you have walk a mile in Rev. Wright shoes or personally know of the relationship between him and president Obama, no one has a right to criticize him. And shame on all the blacks who are saying “shut up” Rev. Wright. Why is it OK for whites to say the same exact things while never suffering personally in their live a history of Industrialized and Systematic racism by an oppress group and Rev. Wright who as, cannot express the same. You can try and hide the past; but it doesn’t mean it will go away. America must face its sins and see how they are defending country that are doing what America now deem a shameful time in our history and should never be repeated.

But he has to know that any comment at all in that vein is going to be jumped on by the media - which means he doesn't always think before he speaks - a bad habit in someone that has a connection to the president. Of course Obama needs to avoid him.

Jews make up less than two percent of the population of the US yet they hold 13 Senate Seats and that is the body that votes for War and/or Police Actions. Blacks, on the other hand, make up approximately 20% of the American population yet they have only "one" appointed Senate Seat. AIPAC, PNAC, Joe Lieberman, Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, Henry Kissinger, Robert Reich, Casper Weinberger, Sandy Berger, Paul Wolfowitz, Ari Fleischer, Rahm Emanuel, Lewis "Scooter" Libby etc. , no one disputes the fact that these individuals have "dual-citizenship" and can rightly be questioned as to where their allegiances lay. Do they work for America or do they work for Israel. Stealing state secrets and causing the deaths of over 37 American naval personnel when Israeli Jets knowingly fired on the American Naval vessel USS Liberty and its life-boats is a "FACT". They receive 10's of Billions of Dollars in loans and aid that they never have to pay back ( thanks to the late Democrat Senator Alan Cranston, a staunch supporter of Israel and a Jew) and when you add this amount to the stealing of 10's of Millions of Dollars worth of "PELL Grants" during the Clinton administration (money meant for inner-city youth college funds) perhaps you can at least understand the Rev Wright and many other individuals attitude towards the nation of Israel, it has nothing to do with Anti-Semetism.
