Jeremiah Wright On Jews And Obama: "I Misspoke," Meant "Zionists"

Reverend Jeremiah Wright raised eyebrows yet again when he said he was no longer able to speak to President Obama because "them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me." On Sirius Radio's "Make it Plain with Mark Thompson" Thursday, he clarified.

"Let me just say, like Hillary, I misspoke. Let me just say Zionists," Wright said, before going on to delineate the difference between them and "responsible Jewish persons." He went on to discuss the Israeli government and the power of the Zionist lobby in the U.S. government, saying he was basing his words on the work of Jewish historian Marc Ellis.

I wonder if Obama looks back and wonders how he missed the signs? Clearly the man was looking for a father figure and felt he had found one in Wright. But oh, how wrong he was. The real Wright is not a true man of God. He's a total fraud who clearly manipulated Obama's desire for spiritual fulfillment and community. Yes, I believe he cared about Barack, but not as much as he cares about himself and furthering his distorted viewpoints.

Obama didn't miss the signs.

He began his time in Wright's church for political expediency. Wright is a power player within the community, and presented a particularly enticing "marketing strategy" to a young black man who had lofty goals in the political arena.

I don't believe Obama for one second when he claims that he never heard these incendiary remarks during his time in Wright's church. We can very easily look to his Cairo speech and see a toned down version of the same sentiment.

Obama spent 20 years surrounding himself with people who do not like America. "Black Liberation Theology" is deeply rooted in fascism. We are seeing the lessons learned in that church come to fruition in the takeover of GM and forced sale of Chrysler, the takeover of the financial sector, the attempt to take over health care, and the use of the media as a tool for propaganda. We have 16 "czars" who answer to nobody but Obama, and he clearly has (for now) complete control of almost everything that happens in Congress.

Whether or not Obama held views similar to Wright's before he met Wright? Hard to say - he admits to being somewhat radical during his college years, but many are. What has become of Obama, though, is clearly not in line with mainstream America, and he hid this just well enough to get himself into the ultimate position of power.
