Let's build a d*mn MUSEUM!

Germany built museums to the disgusting things their country did and thus insured that it would never happen again. Blow the pictures up large and in living color. Hang them in a museum dedicated to never losing our way or our ideals again. That would take the sting out of the things terrorists would have to say about them. It's all the hiding that gives them ammunition. It's not enough to just release them. But building a museum committed to never again would signal to the world that we know what we did and we condemn it ourselves. This would be a bold step and a promise of truly new beginnings.

Sounds familiar like Clean Air Act or Patriot Act, acts that were neither clean nor patriotic. This evidence would have been out years ago if it were holocaust torture pictures. But of course for the guilty parties like in this case the Republicans and our military they have to try and make it sound like it’s the terrorist’s pictures. Why is this issue of war crimes even being debated, let's get on with a special prosecutor and open trials if we really are Americans anymore.
