Jane Harman: Napolitano Should Kill Spy Satellite Office

Rep. Jane Harman and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano are old friends, but that isn't stopping Harman from calling out Napolitano for slow-walking an agency review of the controversial use of military satellites in U.S. airspace.

Harman, the California Democrat who chairs a House subcommittee on domestic intelligence, wants Napolitano to kill the agency's deceptively named National Applications Office, established by the Bush administration to funnel military intelligence to local, state and federal law enforcement.

Harman gave us the "HR 1955, the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007" . This bill was an attack on our civil liberties as bad as those by the neocons.
Harman should be turned out next election.

Harman has already shown us where her loyalties lie. She cannot be trusted, and should have resigned already.

Her involvement in this is a red flag. We need to pay close attention to what happens.

And as much as I hate anything Governor Bush ever did, this program, if set up and run properly and legally, might be very good. Sharing information between these agencies could save time and money in the long term.

Harman also added, " How am I supposed to get my palms greased and favor swap if people are wire-tapping my phone? I mean, I know I'm against the fourth amendment for citizens, but c'mon, I'm a member of Congress so those rules don't apply to me."

Jane Harman should have all security clearances revoked. Selling out to Israel the us gov't also let two aipac spies off the hook. We go after cuban spies with full force but Israeli spies get zero penalities and carte blanche to do as they please, it's disgusting.

Had this been a government worker, they'd be in jail right now. If that worker was muslim they'd probably be facing the death penality.

It's okay to sell out our national interests to Israel, after all they'll look out for our interests and would never, ever use our secrets to trade with our enemies or squees more taxdollars out of us.
