Over Two Days Hannity Devotes One Sentence To Holocaust Museum Murder

Fix News host Sean Hannity only devoted one sentence to discussing the shooting at the Holocaust Museum on his program this week, Media Matters reports. This comes after Hannity had criticized other networks for not giving significant coverage to the recent shooting at an Army recruiting center in Arkansas. Instead of discussing the shooting at the Holocaust museum, Hannity did, according to Media Matters, dedicate significant time on his show this week to "David Letterman's jokes about Sarah Palin, the firing of Miss California Carrie Prejean, and actor Craig T. Nelson's take on the proper role of government."

Well, remember that he was schooled in parochial settings where frankly at the time anti semitism was more than a little rampant. It was only recently that the Vatican began changing it's tune about some complicity of many in the German Church in often not standing up to Hitler and the very minimum. I grew up in the 50's hearing from my Catholic friends how bad the Jews were because "the Jews killed Jesus" and I frequently reminded them that Jesus was a Jew and lived in a Jewish society and it was not much different than the Kansans who served on juries and condemned the Clutter killers to death for their crimes. In fact he and O'Reilly sound more like the Jewish crowd did the square during passover when they yelled Crucify Him". They have done the same type yelling about Dr. Tiller and others who perform abortions, about those who support gays in the military or gay marriage, about confirming Sotomayor and the like. "Crucify them" seems to the the FOX mantra towards those with whom they disagree and it is amazing how many of those doing it call themselves Christians and / or even more proudly Catholic.
