Iranain theocratic government is no longer a legitimate goverment because there is a lack of people's consent about government 's action and inaction.
Right of free assembly or gathering has been recognised in constitution unfortunitly this right has been taken from the nation.
It is reasonable to say that Iranian governmen is responsible for (Nada) Tragedy and this clearly indicates that Iranian goverment is not capable to perform its basic duty that is maintaining peace security.Using force intimidation under UN Charter is not a means to obtain people's consent to be governed.

HEY EVERYONE HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO THIS CRISIS_--_fast easy way to end this crisis, they want their vote counted-i've heard already the solution and peacably, if it is true the opposition has an estimated 80+percent of the vote over the extremists then this will work to get the attention of EVERYONE world wide-problem however is coordination everyone must tell everyone and spread all over IRAN-with the communications shut down by government then the way they get info out is the way info needs to get in -SOLUTION-the blue flu-what would happen to the entire country if all Masavi voters called in sick-no open shops, closed gas stations, no restaraunts, no health care, no police/fire/ambulances,no banking, no transportation etc, no riots or clashes everyone stayed home-if you have over 80 percent of your population staying home i really think this will send a message of who truely won the election-how can you fight a response like this if your entire economy shuts down-they have no choice but to listen and rethink the vote-and this way no more use for riot police and egg on the face of those claiming victory, our job spread this around-the sooner the better.

I dont think they can do that anymore. The tyrant declared protests to be illegal, and this is an act of protest and clearly stamps a label on their forehead "Im protesting". Atleast in the street they had anonymity.

According to Rep. Darrell Issa, Obama just needs to do what America did during Tianamen Square, because it led to a postive change in China with regards to communication and other things.

What in the heck was he talking about. China, like is one of the worst countries with regards to human rights violations.

Here is a clip of Issa on the Ed Show.

Anyone involved with the Tax Protests can relate to the media repression of information that the Iranians are going through. Hundred's of Thousands of protesters in over 800 cities were also forced to twitter and blog the information out to the world as the American Media largely ignored the massive protests to repress the information from America and the world and any coverage was done solely to distort the issues and portray all the protesters as rightwing Anti-Obama radicals.

Western media broad cast exeggerated report regarding iran opposition suppor before election, which is not really true. Therefore opposition of Iran election became very hopeful about their victory and when they defeated then shocked. That is why this unrest. We undoutedly believe Ahmedinejad still more popular than others because of his poor friendly policy and simple life.We want stability in all countries of the world for world peace. Please help to stop unrest in countries.People of the world want peace, tolerance, stability.

If you want to help:

to protect the Iranian twitter acounts create your own twitter account and/or change your twitter location to IRAN/TEHRAN GMT+3.30

The Iranian secret service searches for Twitter accounts located in Iran. The more accounts are changed to to location in Iran, the longer thay have to look to find a "real" account.

The very least we can all do in the US is wear green in solidarity as long as this continues and especially tomorrow ... green armband, headband or just some green cloth to show you are with those who are fighting for what many of us take for granted. Let them know many of us are with them.

GOP=Big Intrusive Government

He is being shrewd beyond his years and experience. Finally a president who thinks before he speaks. This team understands the middle east, the nuances, and the effect of a measured word. Let the southern blunt instruments keep spouting BUT out of power, able to do as little damage as possible.
07:54 PM on 06/19/2009
what really gets me is that the GOPers are the ones with the big mouthes. what happened to being conservative? oops, Obama is acting more like a conservative on this one....who'd a thunk it?
09:46 PM on 06/19/2009
My sentiments exactly, finally a US Leader who "thinks" before he acts. And Thank God they ARE out of power, we would most certainly end up with egg on our faces if "W" was still in office "Sable Rattling".
BRAVO Pesident Obama
03:12 PM on 06/19/2009
Where is Obama, he should be disgusted with the actions of Iran to defraud the people of the voting process. He should make it clear that we can't stand by and let this happen. We are the police of the world, because no one else will step up for peoples rights. Hate us or love us, no one can help these people but us.
03:18 PM on 06/19/2009
Where is Obama?

...ah, let me see...2 w@rs, banking crisis, automotive crisis, immigration woes, health care reform, stimulus package distribution and probably hundreds of domestic issues I didn't name. Maybe a wee busy.

If you are American you should. Iran as an ally would greatly enhance our chances of exiting the middle East. Al Quaeda and Iran are enemies.

Well if the Israeli hardliners are aiding in the attempt to bring down the current hardliner government in Iran, they are working against their own self-interest,( that is of Greater Israel) which is to say they are working for the interests of the Palestinians and humanity. The current Islamist government in Iran serves as a convenient bogeyman, and hence distraction from the issue of Palestine, for the hardliners in Israel. If that government were removed, and replaced with a more moderate one, Netanyahu could no longer use the issue of Iran to distract the Obama administration from issues such as the settlements, and, ultimately, a Palestinian state. The hardliners of Israel, whether they know it or not, are best served by the continuation of the current Iranian government, and the election of Ahmandinajad

The fascist regime in Iran did this to itself by not counting the votes, although naturally they intend to blame outsiders for their own duplicity and brutality.

I no longer believe a word that regime says, or any of its stooges on here,

We are starting a new age. The only thing we could do about the past elections in this country is prosecute those who perpetrated the frauds. As for Iran at this point, I am in awe of their courage. There is only one God and one purpose, which is peace for all. That which we call God, they call Allah. So, may Allah protect you all and keep you strong. We are praying for you and your country.

Our elections were less than honest in 2000 and 2004. Why didn't the world stand up in protest and demand that those elections be voided? The world would be a much better place today if that had happened.
11:53 AM on 06/19/2009
The world might have stood up if they had seen America stand up for its own rights. America didn't do that.
12:42 PM on 06/19/2009
The people of Iran did not stand up! What we saw are the people of Northern Tehran. Tehran was declared for Mousavi, anyway - one of two states that went for him.

From our side, it is a propaganda war, no more or less. We have no inkling about how the elections were fought. If people in this country were to do what the people of Northern Tehran are doing, the riot police would be out in hundreds of thousands, and MSNBC would be denouncing the law-breakers - the demonstrators. Let us not fool ourselves.

We had a Supreme Court decide the elections in 2000 and the entire public information system went with it...

We cannot invade Iran. This is to some the next best thing!

We should better than anyone what can happen when an election is rigged - twice.
