CHICAGO (AP) -- A 22-year-old suburban Chicago woman has been ordered held without bond in the death of a Chicago teen whose body was found severely burned May 2.
Alisa Campos is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 15-year-old Alex Arellano. Campos appeared in bond court Saturday.
Two Chicago youths, 18-year-old Edgar Silva and 15-year-old Jovanny Martinez, were earlier charged in the murder.
Prosecutors say Arellano was accosted by members of the Latin Kings street gang, who attacked him when he refused to give the gang hand signal. The gang members reportedly beat him with baseball bats, struck him with a car and finally shot him in the head.
His body was set on fire and left in a gangway between buildings.
Campos is next due in court June 26.
