Bruce Willis Does Bondage Shoot, Talks New Marriage In W

Bruce Willis and his new lingerie-model bride Emma don kinky boots and play bondage in the July issue of W Magazine.

Inside the action star and Demi Moore-divorcee talks about his recent nuptials and the provocative (and topless) photo shoot.

On marrying 32-year-old Emma Heming in March '09 after dating a string of models ..."I went from 'F--- love' to 'Love is truly the answer. I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, 'I'm alone, but I'm not lonely.' But I was just kidding myself. Then I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier."

On how he, Emma, Demi, Ashton, and the kids (Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah) ALL GET ALONG...We've become like a tribe. It's generated a lot of interest because everyone can understand resentment and envy in the breakup of a marriage, but they don't understand how I can get along with my ex like that. Demi and I made a choice to put the kids first, and we're really lucky that it turns out we all have fun together. I still love her, and I have a lot of respect for how she lives her life."

On modeling with Emma for W's photo shoot for the July issue..."Oh, it was awkward. We did stuff that I know a lot of other actors would not have done. Had I done it with another model I don't know that I would have been as into it."

On how he now prioritizes his personal life over his career..."I hear so many people in relationships say, 'I just need a couple of days away, or even an hour away. But I don't want to be away from Emma at all. It's the most singular relationship I've ever had in my life."

Bruce and Demi did an elegant fashion shoot for a Donna Karan portfolio in 1996. I canceled my subscription to W a few years ago after issue after issue had semi-nude models posed to look like little girls in their underwear. It wasn't artistic, it was disturbing. I want a fashion magazine to show good photos of the clothes, not images from the mind of some pervert

give me a break. We all judge. We judge everytime we go to the store and buy something, something like a magazine. If the majority of the public judges it as being worthy the magazine company makes money. It's pretty simple ... it's about corporations making money.

Easy there Sally, you're admonishing a 10 year old. I think 10 year olds are still allowed to be totally stupid until they hit, say 25 or so. And even then, few will escape the folly of youth.

I think if you movie out of your safe comfy view of the world and really take a look at these, you will see how great these really are.

There is more to these photos once you dig deeper. The dark fun house art is just great. The use of bright colors in some of the shots really pop and draw the eye's attention to the subject of the photo. I love the use of TV screens and how intimate those photos look when you wouldn't expect to feel that.

My favorite is the fire escape photo the rubber gloves and the vibe of foreboding and surrender is outstanding.

Great to see a response that isn't just Bruce Willis insults. I too like the photography for what it is, an art form. Bruce Willis is an attractive man, and these photos are intriguing and disturbing and enticing.

If people would look closer at this, they'd see a story being told, in particular of a man who endured a bad breakup and created a defense mechanism. He found comfort in having "control" of his life by dating a string of beautiful women, never putting his heart at risk by never allowing himself to fall in love.

Then comes a woman who stripped that control away from him, and he is eagerly and willingly under her command.

He spends much of these shoots naked because nakedness means vulnerability.

In one photo, he is blind-folded as she leads him down a staircase. He must trust her, in his vulnerable state, that she will keep him safe from harm.

Long story short, the photographer is brilliant, and the Willis couple are beautiful and daring. Who will punish them for this?

I agree. For a "so called liberal blog" people are quite harsh and judgmental on this site. It's one thing to get fired up over issues, and it's another to launch personal cowardly attacks on people that you don't even know.

These pictures foist Bruce Willis and his wife on the public. They're a self- indulgence which isn't particularly admirable. Who really gives a crap about Bruce Willis and his wife? Seriously how often does he come up in your day to day life He's not particularly pertinent nowadays. This is just a very skillful and pathetic picture campaign to start a buzz.. He wants to be out in the public eye again so here it is. The artistic merits are secondary to the purpose. Bruce Willis is not a national hero. He's a man who was lucky to make a lot of money as an actor. What he has done in his personal life should be his own reward or disgrace. He was an action hero not somebody to emulate for those touting him as Mr. Wonderful.

I love Bruce Willis and I watch his movies all the time. I watched Pulp Fiction just last night and I am looking forward to his new movie with Kevin Smith very much. Bruce Willis doesn't need a buzz he is a buzz, he has had a career that has spanned 29 years give or take and he has made a movie a year since about 1999. So what are you talking about.

I admire him for being a good father, for keeping his relationship with Demi civil and actually healthy for his children, I admire him for a lot of things and this photo shoot is one of them. I think people are just not liking these because American's are prudes by nature and these challenge that feeling.
