By The End Of The Day, What Would You Wish To Happen?

Last week, I posted the Brooklyn video from Fifty People, One Question, a straightforward, but remarkably vivid series of video interviews produced by Deltree and Crush & Lovely. In case you missed it, here's the deal: the crew stakes out a high-traffic spot -- by the side of the road in Brooklyn or under an arched underpass in London -- asks fifty people the same question, and then films their responses.

The project started in New Orleans and was so well received that Deltree and Crush & Lovely began traveling to more cities and asking more questions. The vignettes are set to music and edited in a way that creates a soft, layered effect. Watch the video and glimpse a slice of life -- and humanity. Your own responses to the filmmakers' question (in the comments section of the last post "Where Would You Wish To Wake Up Tomorrow") ranged from travel-oriented: "Kulanaokuaiki Campground-outside Volcano National Park, HI" to level-headed: "Next to a kind, warm hearted, socially aware woman who cares about this world and its people" to poignant: "Next to my husband. He passed away 6 weeks ago." Here's another video of people interviewed last autumn in downtown Manhattan about their hopes and dreams for that very day.
