It is rather funny that the T-baggers seem to be a seemingly unconnected collection of people with random gripes. I am not saying that some are not legitimate gripes, but usually at a protest there is a common theme.

There were more people protesting the war early on than there are t-bagging, but we see these Johnny come lately’s at every turn of the channel. We are really suppose to believe that a couple hundred people protesting a sitting Speaker of the House is actually news? Sounds like about the same number of people showed up to watch her speak, and paid money, hardly a devastating rebuke.

Bush would get more protesters for taking the dog for a walk, if people could get close enough to be seen or heard thru the bubble.

Too much spending, and too much expansion of government control, especially by the federal government.

Tea partiers are not by nature or occupation the types who hit the streets to protest. I've never seen non-leftists do anything like this in my middle-aged life, except for pro-lifers.

Peaceful protest is our right. You can make fun of it all you like. That's your right.

Did they protest when the Military Commissions Act was enacted? Or when they lied us into a war with Iraq? Or when the government started listening to our conversations to keep us safe? Or when the government stopped actually inspecting our food, or water or air?

Your right the Conservative protesting it is unprecedented but it is also misguided.

And I will agree with you, I totally disagree with what you said but I will vigorously defend your right to say it.

The tea partiers were protesting Pelosi's actions and policies. There is nothing sexist about this.

Naw, Ch3n3y was the president of the Senate and is a far worse person.

Speaking of Ch3n3y, why didn't you guys protest the last president, who overspent by over 6 TRILLION dollars in a mere 8 years?

Some people did protest Bush's spending, and that's one reason a lot of fiscal conservatives sat out the 2006 and 2008 elections.

But the current spending is of a whole new order. It's unprecedented. The rest of the world is wondering what the heck we're doing, as we have to keep raising the interest rate on our T-bills to sell them.

We said the stimulus bill was way too expensive, and passed in far too much a hurry for such a huge spending bill. We said it wouldn't do what it was supposed to do.

We were right.

If you had listened to us, we wouldn't be a trillion $ in the hole with almost nothing to show for it.

Imagine a Texan shoots down and kills two unarmed people who broke into his neighbor's house and is exonerated by the justice department and just a few days ago a Texas cop tazered a 72 year old woman for swearing.

Boy have they ever got it together in that state.

The funny thing is that these people have no idea what the true meaning of tea-bagging is, if the did, they wouldn't be doing it. The only ones who are profitting from this is the Lipton company because of the purchase of all these tea bags, good for you Lipton.

Good one! And the saddest part is that they didn't even bother to buy Lipton stocks to at least get some benefits from buying all of those tea bags and throwing them away.

We are not the ones calling it "tea bagging". It's the perverted liberals who are turning peaceful protests against the government getting out of control into some sick sex act.

You can try to discredit the tea parties all you want, but the people who attend these exercises in free speech know the truth.

Nice free speech, h@tred and fearmongering are really not getting you anywhere. Other than inciting the w@cko fringe, which you seem to enjoy so much.

They have the Internet(s) now. There's no longer any excuse for them to be misinformed. It's clearly a choice they themselves have made.

We're having a stoopid tea party here on the 4th of July - they are inviting people from all over the country to march with them . They're even having a "fly-in" at the airport after the march. Their guest speaker is the founder of the Oath Keepers. Totally creepy.

Usually people who are not taken seriously have a ton of comments about them. See Palin, for example.

However, no right-wingers are willing to defend these teabaggers.
