After the 2008 Senate race ended in a virtual tie last November, I wrote that Minnesotans had tossed a coin that landed on its edge: Many voters, it still seems to me, voted against Norm Coleman or Al Franken, not for them.

Norman if you're reading this know you may be missed in the government, but I doubt it. You have lost sonny now let go and find yourself something to do, perhaps you could spend some time repairing the problems you helped to create as a consultant in the public sector or just try keeping away. Either one would be your chance to have a public sector job for a change. No more leaching off the government, time to be a man and grow a pair, do some good and stay away from politics.

Norman is a perfect picture of the good old boys not wanting to give up power. He is in the same state as the rest of the GOP and people like bucannan, hannity, limbaugh, beck, o'reilly and the rest of those racists. Can't beleive their power is gone and they blame a blackman for that. They can't except the fact we have black president and they can't beleive how brilliant he is. I don't think that it is only Coleman at work here. The senate Republicans have a huge vested interest in stalling that 60th Democratic vote (Franken) from taking his seat and moving Obama's agenda along. They don't really care about Coleman or Minnesota, they care about the potential super-majority.
