Perhaps in an attempt to divert attention from the alleged jewel heist at her London photo shoot, Lindsay Lohan tweeted a topless self-portrait of herself early this morning.

Maybe she should have stopped with last year's Marilyn Monroe spread in New York Magazine.

America needs to start paying attention to the important things in our lives, not revolve our lives around brainless people like Lohan and may others like her.
Whatever the reason behind this publicity stunt doesn't justify the madness, it's unfortunate that the media continues it's downward slide into a popularity contest for ratings, the media in this country needs to go back to it's true identity, that's telling the important news that affects our lives, in an honest transparent format, we as a society must share the blame with the media, Americans reward failure, the guilty, and anyone that has a horror story to tell.
