CASTLETON, Vt. — Vermont State Police and a spokeswoman for Mia Farrow say the actress' brother killed himself at his art gallery. Patrick Farrow, 66, died of a single gunshot wound to the head. His body was found late Monday in his studio, a converted church in the small town of Castleton.

Police said the medical examiner's finding of suicide is consistent with evidence found at the scene.

Laura Berwick, who is Mia Farrow's manager, said Patrick Farrow was a beloved brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather and that the family is grieving.

Is it true that this man got a lot of publicity for calling out the Bush administration for their crimes and secrecy? Hunter S. Thompson said that the Bush administration was going to take his life and make it look like it was self-inflicted. Another fishy one is Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, Mark Levy, and Vince Foster's lawyer who argued 16 cases to the supreme court and successfully battled Starr and won at the top court to keep secret Vince's files after he supposedly self-inflicted his loss of life as well. Too coincidental that people charged with the care of valuable information that people have a long history of battling over would both commit this very, very rare act. Also, remember the woman who claimed that Bush r aped her and how she was s hot to deaath right before the trial and right before the 2000 election.

Write many scripts for "Law and Order" and "CSI"?

...and suicide, sadly, is not rare.

Poor Mia Farrow. She always seems so dignified and elegant. May she find peace in this painful time.

People need to have the right to leave this earthly sphere but they should be mindful of the consequences to those they leave behind. I had an elderly relative who refused to take this way out because his children would have to list "Father-suicide" on all their medical histories.

He died a painful death as he knew he would but he spared his children the pain of having to list his cause of death as suicide. Until our society understands the necessity of leaving the planet in a dignified manner, many face the same choice.

Why is it that people want to make others suffer more in such circumstances? Religions can be so judgmental in their morals. The man I refer to assisted others in suicide as a physician. I can still remember a cancer patient asking him if "he would be there" when the time came. He was.

Would you let your dog suffer needlessly? No, you would put him down, probably. Emotional and psychic pain is terrible, too. Maybe Mia's brother faced untold suffering and needed a way out. Having said that, most people begin to feel better about problems and change their minds. Suicide is not the answer for these depressed people, obviously.

The person who dies from suicide is not trying to hurt their love ones. Most of the time they really don't want to die. They are trying to stop the pain from hurting, and at that moment they are not thinking clearly, except for stopping the pain.

Of course suicide is not the answer but people who die this way feel like their is nothing left. However, most times they have family and friends that love them, and if love could have kept them here on this earth, most would still be alive today.

A lot of people do not understand the signs of suicide and a lot of times the person who dies this way have given clues. I feel there need to be more education and understanding about this illness. People who are left behind feels a lot of guilt and forever wondering and asking why. They do need our prayers and not judgement.

God bless the Farrow family
