Jim Cramer: "Everybody Wishes Obama Would Just Kind Of Go Away" (VIDEO)

Here's a video of Jim Cramer, kicking it with Joe Scarborough, on the issue of healthcare reform. At the ready is a "stunning" poll indicating that Americans were more concerned with paying down deficits than they are about stimulating the economy. Chances are, those Americans are under the impression that the economy is already stimulated, and that attention rightly should be paid now to combating deficits down the line. Naturally, Scarborough turns this into an issue of health care reform: "Don't you think," Scarborough asks Cramer, "that this puts the Obama administration behind the eight ball on health care?" Hey, maybe a poll on support for health care reform would be a better way of placing the issue in context? Probably!

But Cramer insists, without evidence, that "when Americans hear health care reform, it just means tax increases." No chance that Americans think it might just mean, "Oh! You mean I might be able to afford asthma inhalers for my family, and what not?" Not at all! In fact, according to Cramer: "Until we get the economy moving again, I think everybody wishes that Obama would just kind of go away for a little bit."

Seems like only yesterday that the media was telling us that everyone wanted Obama to work on the economy and nothing else, forever. But now it's time to "go away." Surely, this is indeed what "everybody" wants!

Misleading title to the post. I've noticed that a couple times on Huffington. It's just like the other media. A misleading use of language. Cramer's quote that people wish "Obama would go away..." is not until the end of the clip and they cut him off mid sentence. I would like to have heard what else he had to say. It is the abuse of the press like this that get things mixed up and send mixed signals.

Agreed- every news org does this though. I don't call it simply misleading however, I call it baiting. The reality is that media on the web needs page views. It got us to click on it didn't it?

I actually agree with Cramer on this one. Obama is doing way too much too fast. Too much, too fast never works out well. Nothing can be hastily done and be expected to be done well. There may be benefits to a single payer system, however pushing things of this magnitude through quickly worries me.

I never listen to this guy, and what makes it worse, as to why I would never listen to him period, is what he said on the Jon Stewart Show. When asked by John where he gets his facts from, he made it clear that most of his facts are not properly checked out, he just accept what he is told and run with it.

I wish Jim Cramer would go away.He is so wrong,see we wanted bush to go away- but he just wouldnt!And guess what Cramer Bush's left over problems wont seem to go away either. What is priceless to me is that gwb knew GM needed help but just decided to leave it to the Obama administration, along with the wars, and the already started bank bailouts.!­Wow allot of people seem to have very, very short memory-spans these days.

The cost of Health insurance is killing our economy, businesses cannot afford to provide health care for their employees.­..I'm self employed and have not had health insurance for many years

Our health insurance is very expensive yet we rank very low on health care quality worldwide.­..I work in the health care field...th­ere is something very wrong with this picture...­.

If your employer provides your health insurance it won't be long before that changes somehow, someway
