Jon & Kate Gosselin To Announce "Life-Changing Decision" On Monday's Show (VIDEO)

Jon & Kate Gosselin will announce a "life-changing decision" on Monday's show, according to a promo for the special one-hour "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

"Recently we've made some life-changing decisions," Kate says in the clip. "Decisions that will affect every member of our family, ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace."

The couple's troubled marriage has been in the media spotlight for weeks, though they were spotted together this week with their children at their Pennsylvania home.

The promo clip, seen below, may be TLC's attempt to revive the show's ratings, which are way up compared to previous seasons but have fallen drastically from the record-setting season premiere last month.

Who cares about these two? Essentially, they are glorified for breeding... what a sad state of affairs when people who have more children then they can afford are made into celebreties. Our earths population has double from the time JFK was in office from 3 billion people to currently over 6 billion people and an expected 9 billion in the near future due to breeders like this!

They are worried for their kids and they should be – it’s hard for a child to get through his parents’ divorce. I have read on http://www.projectweightloss.com what can they do to help their children in a case like this.During a divorce kids may feel so many things they didn’t feel before, so they might not know it’s normal to have such feelings. They think their whole world is falling apart, that’s way children should be reassured it’s going to be all right soon.

Well, now that the cat's out of the bag, Jon & Kate decided to end their 10 year marriage. What a complete disaster. Did anybody see Jon say that he was excited to start a NEW CHAPTER in his life? WAKE UP JON - you have 8 kids - you don't just forget about them and be a part time dad starting a NEW CHAPTER - you are in fantasy land buddy. The only reason these young women are throwing themselves at you is because they are money hungry little tramps. and You apparently love every single minute of it. They don't want one another anymore ! It's not just Jon, its Kate also, who I don't believe ever thought of Jon as her equal in the 1st place! But whatever they decide to do from here on in, I hope they continue to drop in ratings, because the best thing that could happen to them would be to (GO BACK TO BASICS) ! and actually support their own kids, not the kids supporting them, which is still going to happen according to them, anyway! (WE'RE SPLITTING, BUT THE SHOW WILL CONTINUE)!

The other couple on the WE channel, (The Masche's) with sextuplets, are already showing strains in their marriage, on their debut shows. (The Dad thinking he does not have to pitch in with the kids when he comes home from work, because his "WIFE IS BETTER AT IT!"

There is strain in every marriage, but putting it on world display does not help in any relationship. So, in essence, all of these people walk into this with $$$ in their eyes, never realizing what they can become of their own privacy, and the sanities of their entire families, (KIDS AND ALL) !

I am so sorry for these kids. They have just been used as a money maker. This has been so wrong, and I am surprised that there aren't some grandparents involved. These kids are going to need someone with some stability. Obviously they don't have it with the parents. Money is all that Kate was interested in, and I for one, don't want to watch this program anymore. I hope that the ratings really drop and the show is cancelled.

Have never watched them. Heard of them for the first time on HuffPost. How wonderful it would be when, the next time some outfit like TLC comes out with an experiment in mass-explo­itation-fo­r-profit (as in, exploit a family, exploit the entire gawking populace), everybody decided to skip that party. I know, it's a pipe dream, could never happen. Such concerted... what can I call it... BACKBONE on a mass scale is too much to hope for.

the program on monday is nothing more then to grab ratings for the fall session. I dont watch the show, because I hate reality shows, and this one in particular is really pathetic. Exploiting the kids for their own gain is beyond belieft and compempt.

i hope that they get charged with exploiting the kids through the child labour laws.

Are people really this gullible and bored with their own lives. The only reason there is a "big decision", is because viewership fell by almost 5 million people. Here's a decision you should have made a few years ago, stop having multiple births, you know you cannot afford and pimping your kids out to make up for you inability to financially care for them. You know if you are only pulling down $60,000 or so, you cannot afford a brood of children. I feel sorry for the children, their parents obviously need to grow up, and not at the same time as the kids.

It's always been about Jon and Kate. Kids were just the decoys, and the fun is so over.

TLC is all about despicable exploitation, on most all their shows.
Only thing decent they ever aired was "Take Home Chef", and now that's gone.

One thing you learn on "The Learning Channel" is to never tune in, and stop watching.

This was a decision I made, when the "Jon and Kate" fiasco first began. TLC is bad news.

Not that I've spent much time (at all) watching but from what I've seen, there's not a lot of mad parenting skillz going down in that house. Mummy and Pops are far too narcissistic for such things

Enough already. Kate is playing the martyr and Jon? He seems childish. I'v only watched one episode (the recent premier) but, I can't see watching more. I feel bad for the kids, their parents are greedy and their first priority has to be $ or else they would have pulled the plug on the show themselves when problems erupted. How can it possibly benefit those kids to continue? Jeez, it's almost like child abuse.
