Jon & Kate Gosselin To Announce "Life-Changing Decision" On Monday's Show (VIDEO)

Jon & Kate Gosselin will announce a "life-changing decision" on Monday's show, according to a promo for the special one-hour "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

"Recently we've made some life-changing decisions," Kate says in the clip. "Decisions that will affect every member of our family, ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace."

The couple's troubled marriage has been in the media spotlight for weeks, though they were spotted together this week with their children at their Pennsylvania home.

The promo clip, seen below, may be TLC's attempt to revive the show's ratings, which are way up compared to previous seasons but have fallen drastically from the record-setting season premiere last month.

OK, I'm finally going to say what I've been thinking for weeks: Exactly who in hell are these people, and why does anyone give a damn what they do? Am I the only person in America who has no clue who they even are or why they are plastered all over the news media 24/7? Although, I'm also the only person in America who doesn't watch "American Idol" or "Dancing With the Stars," and I would imagine they all pretty much appeal to the same audience.

Who gives a rats ass what she has to say.I am NOT a fan of the show but I will say that I have watched it on occasion,and the way she talks to Jon...It's no wonder he cheated on her.Now ,no I am not immoral,I don't believe in breaking marriage vows that were made unto God,but it's like this.You cannot expect a person to stay with you if you treat them like crap.She has taken his pride,dignity and his masculinit­y.Kate is the most domineering person I have ever seen on a reality show.Anyon­e who thinks they are mightier than thou,needs a wake up call.A good dose of reality for her would be for TLC to cancel the show,and she would have to get a job.Good luck with that!

Kate is upset that the events in Iran have taken away from her much desired attention. And we know how much TLC likes to use Jon & Kate Plus 8 to cross-advertise their other shows.

They had considered doing a Wife swap with the Duggar family, but the Duggar kids voted and nixed that idea.

So here is the DECISION: Jon & Kate are moving the family to Iran where outside media is prohibited, men are superior to women, Kate will have to wear a burkha (thereby reducing the salon/hair styling expenses and resultant in a bigger college fund for the kids) and if they don't follow the religion - there can be deadly consequences!

That will resolve Jon's desire for privacy and put the fear of God into Kate to ever attempt to emasculate her husband in public again.

Good question! Well, Kate is a nurse and we know the family likes to give back...but that is a hell of a trip for a visiting nurse from Iran. But she does like to get away from the family...

Actually, maybe TLC can replace the show with a contest show...AME­RICAN HEALTHCARE! Groups come forward to present their ideas on how to correct the health care crisis without putting us further into debt (I'd actually prefer health care debt to war debt, but I don't see that as a viable option at the moment...)­. We can have an American Idol type panel critique the ideas and the people vote!
