Jon & Kate Gosselin To Announce "Life-Changing Decision" On Monday's Show (VIDEO)

Jon & Kate Gosselin will announce a "life-changing decision" on Monday's show, according to a promo for the special one-hour "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

"Recently we've made some life-changing decisions," Kate says in the clip. "Decisions that will affect every member of our family, ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace."

The couple's troubled marriage has been in the media spotlight for weeks, though they were spotted together this week with their children at their Pennsylvania home.

The promo clip, seen below, may be TLC's attempt to revive the show's ratings, which are way up compared to previous seasons but have fallen drastically from the record-setting season premiere last month.

Maybe the announcement will show the viewing audience in slow-motion, Kate's piehole finally being filled by Jon's fist. And seeing her sitting on the couch with her jaw wired shut. Now that would be a great show to watch. We should all be so lucky if TLC creates that real-life scenario.

As a long-time fan of Jon & Kate Plus 8 can I say... I am SO OVER THIS SHOW now!!! It jumped the shark for me when they met the motorcycle dorks and swapped gifts/bikes, whatever. (And the pedicure with Mikey, WTF??)
Now the only reality show I LOVE is The Locator. Troy Dunn is hot, he seems to have a solid marriage, and a bunch of kids... wait a second... are they the next tabloid disaster? Nooooooo!!! I love The Locator too much to see it go the way of Jon and Kate!! Maybe the tabloids will never discover them.

For crying out loud... what is wrong with some people. Do they only have time to hate. I wish this family the best. I am very disgusted with Jon's actions, and even more disgusted by the people lashing out at the injured party here. JON CHEATED, and Jon is the one breaking his vows that he took not once, but twice. Lets call it like it is and get off Kate. Ever have a cheater in your life? It isn't a fun thing and I am sure Kate has had a lot of pain because of what he did, but will peoople pick him apart, or even the "girlfriend".... no, they want to pick Kate's bones. Oh, and I do not believe Kate beats her children. A swat, spanking, etc. is just that, and not a beating. Get over it. This woman is intelegent pretty, and has a lttle OCD problem, but other than that, I don't think she has done anything but provide as best as she knew how for her family. Poor Jon, he had to help. what if she told Jon the marriage was over more then 6 months ago and that Jon was free to see who he wanted as long as he kept doing the show.. This theory makes sense, esp if you listen when Jon says he is not cheating.. It is not what he is saying , it is how he is saying it.. If they have been separated then in his mind he might be telling the truth..
as for her hitting the kids.. sure all Super Stay Home Mom's of the year who have shows about how great their mother skills are smack their kids around.. Just makes for a good story line....

Me, too. First I clicked on links to see who they were, & what I'd missed. I decided I hadn't missed much, but the links kept coming. It's fascinating! You don't have to turn on the tv at all, not ONCE, & you can learn all this stuff about about this weird couple with horrible hair & many tabloid covers.

If I find myself ever buying some product she hawks, I hope someone will track me down & slap me.
