Bo Obama Gets Official White House Portrait

This just in... the White House has released an official photo of "Bo," the first dog. He's the third member of the Obama family to get his portrait taken. Michelle and Barack Obama obviously have ones as well.

Cunningham. I agree with you. But do you know anybody, if elected to the highest Office in our land, would select a creature of this picture? I don't. This dog does not look like any dog that I have seen or hunted with or fed or watched dying rom being poisoned by neighbors. If this is a dog, it is a dog that I would not want to be left alone with.

that dog is the ancestor of the labrador and the poodle, and its catagorized as a working dog, so not only is it loyal and smart, it most likely has a dependable, stable personality. its from portugal, and was a gift, plus its fur is okay for people with allergies, as is common with poodles.

That dog is not an American dog. He is a dog of inherited weath. As with our leisure class of unearned inheritance, this dog sits around, being grooomed and pampered, contributing nothing, and living off of other folk's toil and sweat.
If Obama had an American dog, that dog would be trained to help provide the bread. He would earn his keep.

portugese water dogs are OFFICIALLY under the class of WORKING DOGS! they dive in the water to retrieve nets and guard fishing boats. dont you know that simple fact? they are in fact the ancestor of the labrador retriever and the poodle. they are not "lap" dogs, silly.

Bo has got to be one of the most adorable pooches ever. But I still love my mutt. And he loves me back, so what else can a body ask for? He's not the brightest star in the firmament (he buries his food dish in the yard...evidently thinks it's a bone), and does his business in a far corner of the back yard. He doesn't talk back, puts up with my complaining, tolerates bath time, and has never ever bitten the mailman. He's a good pooch.

I wish the Obama's many years of doggie love with Bo.

I think it is a sweet gesture for President Obama to get a puppy for his girls...but that has got to be the dumbest looking dog I have ever seen. He just doesn't look like he knows what's going on. Sort of would like to see a a dog that people can identify with...rather than the water dog from....
