The question is would they be as big as they are if they hadn't had famous parents? Their paternal fame opened doors to them that others have to fight to get thru. Who knows how many as talented people missed their chance because these people took their place thru schmoozing daddy's friends.

Wrong question!

The more important question is: Will these kids shake off the blame/star­dom/expect­ations, and find a way to be functional people?

I'd love to win the lottery or be selected to star in a sit-com or movie. But if I actually did, I would be seriously worried about my son's picture of the world. I think I'm actually happy being a 'nobody'.
