Johnny Depp As Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen And Anne Hathaway's White Queen: FIRST LOOK (PHOTOS)

The Tim Burton 3-D flick doesn't come out till spring 2010, but film fans now have their first look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen from the upcoming "Alice in Wonderland."

The lead role of Alice will be played by 19-year-old unknown Mia Wasikowska from Australia.

Tim Burton's always been creepy-cool---- Hope this movie isn't overdone, which it has every potential. And, I hope Tim stay's true to the hallucinogenics and opium smoking caterpiller and doesn't sell out to the underaged weenies who have enough Disney/Pixar fodder to choke on already!!!

Depp -- another cartoon character? That he can overplay and hyper-emote? Again?? Please -- how tiresome is this guy's career going to become? He was horrible as HSThompson --- Bill Murray was infinitely better.

Johnny Depp spent months as "Butch, Head of Thompson's Security Detail." He absorbed Thompson's genius and mannerisms through osmosis.

Murray and Depp can't be compared. They portrayed two different Doctors of Journalism.

And "Where the Buffalo Roam" was a marginal movie at best.

Depp is a true actor, who can play any part.
He takes these strange roles, many would turn down.

Turns them into classic roles. Plays fantasy parts, plays any part.
Guy can portray just about anyone, or anything.
